Connect Church exists to lead people to Jesus, into community, from their past, and towards their purpose!
We have 5 core values that keep us within our vision:
Jesus is our PRIORITY, PEOPLE are our focus, PASSION is our play, there is a PURPOSE for everyone, and we PARTY after every win.
Jesus is our priority.
The priority will always be knowing Jesus. It is Jesus first. He is our priority. He is so much our priority that we do not move without Him. We are not only prioritizing Him, but we are prioritizing the pursuit of Him. If He isn’t our priority, then the rest is pointless.
People are our focus
People are our focus, and we are here to make an impact on people. We are a church for the rest of us and that includes making it a place for all people. We believe that Jesus came for all types of people but specifically for those who are lost, hurting, sick, and broken.
Passion is our play
Everything we put our hand to, we do it with passion, energy, and excitement. Not everything makes us passionate, but we have passion about everything we put our hand to at connect. Cleaning a toilet is not something that inspires passion but when I clean the toilet at connect I do it with passion because I am in love with the vision and what we are trying to accomplish. Whatever we do, we are going to do it with passion.
There is a purpose for everyone
We are helping, inspiring, and engaging every person’s purpose. We believe that every person was created on purpose and with a purpose. We know that God did not make mistakes. So, we are intentional in our ways to help each person engage with the reasons they were created. It was for this moment we were each created.
We party after every win
We celebrate all things good. We celebrate anything that we can. A wise person once said, “you get what you celebrate.” We chose to be a church sows celebration over good things believing for more good things.
